Getting
Ready for the Holidays
I am working on some small works for the Sharon Arts Center Gallery
Holiday Show (which will run from the end of November through January
in Peterborough. NH.) And I just dropped off a few pieces for Art3's
group show which has it's opening next Thursday, November 20 from
5 to 8 pm as part of Manchester's Trolley Night. Busy busy busy!
Big
plans ...
I
have a huge new project in the works for next year that combines
my conservation and artistic goals in a way that I am really excited
about! Stay tuned for more news in the new year.
Hippo
Press Interview
I was
recently interviewed by Dana Unger of the Hippo Press in their November
6, 2008 issue about why I think people and animals go together so
well. They gave me a lot of ink so I must have sounded pretty intelligent
-- that doesn't happen very often (not without lots of editing anyway!)
So thanks Hippo!
Now
Accepting Credit Cards!
I
can now accept payments using Visa, Mastercard, American Express
and Discover. So if you're tempted to join my group of hip, good-looking
and highly intelligent collectors, you can now give in much more
easily. (Aren't I nice?)
So
give me a call at 603/315-9060 or send me e-mail and together we'll
make your dreams come true!
Old but Still
Cool News
WMUR-TV
featured me on an upcoming “New Hampshire Chronicle”which
aired Wednesday, May 21. How cool is that? I'm now officially multi-media.
Tiffany Eddy came to my studio and interviewed me about my work
and life. Quite a thrill! See it by clicking here.
This
is exciting: My painting, Black
Bear People Are Dreamers III” was juried into Art
of the Animal Kingdom XIII! This was my first national
wildlife art show and I am so honored to have my work selected for
the show by none other than wildlife artist-rock star John
Seerey-Lester. The show was held at the Bennington
Center for the Arts in Bennington, VT this past summer.
And
if that wasn't cool enough, in May this year New
Hampshire Magazine named me one of their “"Renaissance
Women" for 2008. Here's
a pdf of the piece. Thanks to Rick Broussard and Susan Laughlin
for making me sound and look so good! It was quite an honor and
I am in some great company.
