Welcome!

Being an artist is my dream come true! It's so wonderful to be able to do what you love and share your work with people. Thanks to all my collectors for being part of this amazing life and for making me a success. And thanks to all my friends and family for their continued support and love. If you are new here, welcome and enjoy your visit!

Open Studio: Saturday October 18 from 10 am to 4 pm

Last year's Open Studio was so much fun and such a success (we raised a tidy sum for the Piscataquog Land Conservancy (PLC -- formerly the Piscataquog Watershed Association or PWA) that I have to do it again! Plus, did you know that looking at art is a great way to relieve stress?

Postcards are in the mail to everyone on my mailing list. It's going to be even better than last year: I'll have lots of new paintings (including everything from the Flights of Fancy show), plus some new items like t-shirts and reproductions and more note cards. Once again, I'll donate 10% of sales to the PLC. Click here for directions.

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me. I look forward to seeing you soon!

Current Group Show:
Flights of Fancy

The Beard Pond Art Group (of which I am a proud member) is exhibiting a new show at the Galletly Gallery at the New Hampton School this September. It promises to be a multi-media mega-hit and runs from September 1 through October 11.

Now accepting credit cards!

Am I high tech or what?! Studio Buteo can now accept payments using Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. So if you're tempted to join my group of hip, good-looking and highly intelligent collectors, you can now give in much more easily. (Aren't I nice?) So give me a call at 603/315-9060 or send me e-mail and together we'll make your dreams come true!

The Studio Buteo Store is Now Open

Looking for a one-of-a-kind gift or piece of clothing? Well I have a new on-line store -- how incredibly timely. Click here to check it out! I've added LOTS of new stuff.

Please let me know what you think. I've ordered some samples and they really are quite nice. And if you don't like them, you can return them pretty easily. I'll have some of the items available for sale at my open studio too.

Thanks as always for your interest and support!

What's on the easel

I just finished up being artist-in-residence at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. This is a sketch I did while hanging out with their mountain lions. It's just a quickie -- getting those big cats to pose for very long is a challenge!
